Coach Holbrook Winter Training Program for Travel Players
Weekly Clinic Combined Individual Lessons
This unique Travel Level training experience combines individualized training through private instruction with group training on larger scale aspects of the game. Together, it provides a powerful package that will have each player ready from the first pitch of the season on. This allows for each player to learn a concept or technique, as they would in a team setting and then get the individualized time needed to fully grasp what is being taught. This concept correlates very closely with a teacher and class and a tutor and a student. While you may be taught something by the teacher, you may not understand it fully till you get the individual attention. Each group session will focus on skills specific for travel players. Double play feeds and turns, hitting/butting and successfully running bases and throwing and fielding techniques that help with increased accuracy and consistency plus live pitching and hitting. Coach Holbrook or one of the other group instructors will also meet with each player for eight individual 30 minute private lessons to focus in on what each player specifically needs to work on. The group session will meet on the same day and time each week. The private lessons can be scheduled based on your schedule. Early registrations have the best chance on working with Coach Holbrook for the individual lessons.
Limited to 15 players, no exceptions.

Coach Scipione and Coach Egmer's Travel Catchers Clinic
Travel Catcher? Then You Need to Learn the Keys to the Position
Strength up the middle, a key to great defensive baseball, begins at home (plate). Led by Zach Scipione, Harper College Catchers Coach and Eric Egmer, 13u Travel Coach and former collegiate catcher, This Travel Level clinic will focus on handling pitchers, controlling the running game and leading the defense. Advanced drill work in receiving and blocking will be featured as will throwing accuracy and pop time. The catcher is involved in every pitch of the game and is the quarterback of the defense. The catchers position is both the most difficult and the most fun to play, so if you are a travel catcher, you need to learn the finer points of this critical position. Players in this clinic should have catching experience and it would be preferred that they have their own gear.

Strategic areas with hitting, defense and pitching will all be covered. Focus will also be on developing the player's mental edge, an over looked aspect when it comes to player development.
